🧤🥽 Protection: Wear gloves and goggles. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. This product has low toxicity but may irritate eyes/mucous membranes.

Step 1 — Clarifying Pre-Wash 🧴

1 - Wet the hair with lukewarm water.

2 - Apply Forest Tanino Clarifying Shampoo to the scalp and lengths of your hair. Massage for 1–2 minutes. 🫧

3 - Rinse, then repeat if necessary until you feel the hair "squeak" (cuticle well open).

4 - Towel dry then pre-dry with a hairdryer to ~80–90%.

Step 2 — Application of the Forest Tanino Smoothing Treatment ✨

1 - Separate the hair into 4–6 sections.

2 - Apply the product strand by strand 0.5–1 cm from the scalp (avoid the skin).

Approximate quantities: 20–30 ml for short hair, 30–50 ml for medium-length hair, 50–70 ml for long hair.

3 - Comb through to distribute evenly (without saturating).

4 - Processing time under a cap or in the open air: 20–40 min depending on the resistance of the hair (strand test recommended).

5 - Blow-dry 100% smooth.

Step 3 — Thermal activation with an iron 🔥

- Work in thin sections (0.5–1 cm).
- Indicative temperatures (adjust according to the wick test):
- Natural/thick hair: 220–230 °C
- Colored/highlighted: 200–210 °C
- Bleached/sensitized: 180–190 °C
- Passes: 6–10 passes on mid-lengths/lengths (4–6 on pointe), fluid movement.

Objective: to seal in the smoothing effect without burning the hair fiber.

Step 4 — Rinse & condition 🚿

- Allow to cool down for 5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Recommended option: Forest Tanino Mask for 5–10 minutes to soothe and nourish, then rinse. 🧖‍♀️

Drying & finishing 💨

- Dry with a hairdryer and give it a light blow-dry to polish the surface.

Result: discipline and shine, temporary smoothing effect that fades with washing.
