0) Before we begin

- Diagnosis + wick test 🧪 on a hidden area.
- Very sensitized hair: postpone straightening, first offer a repairing treatment.
- Safety: Ensure a well-ventilated area, avoid eye/skin contact, do not ingest. In salons, gloves and respiratory/eye protection are recommended.

1) Pre-wash

- Wash 1–2 times to remove residue and pollution (without conditioner).
- Towel dry, then dry to ~80% with a hairdryer.
- Recommended shampoo: Tropical Coconut Shampoo (or Forest Tanino Shampoo if preferred).

2) Application of Tropical Coconut Redutor

- Wear gloves 🧤. Work in thin sections.
- Apply strand by strand, about 1 cm from the scalp. Comb through to distribute evenly (do not saturate).

Installation time (optional plastic film):

- Fine/sensitized: 20–30 min
- Normal/thick: 30–40 min
- Very resistant/bulky: 40–50 min

Adapt to the diagnosis and technical history.

3) Pre-drying & blow-drying
- Dry 100% by brushing to pre-align the fiber 💨.

4) Iron sealing (key step)

- Fine strands, slow passes, even tension ⚖️.

Temperature/passage markers (to be adjusted):

- Fine/colored: 180–200 °C, 3–6 passes/strand
- Normal: 200–210 °C, 6–10 passes
- Thick/resistant: 210–230 °C, 10–15 passes

5) Rinse & Skala mask

- Allow to cool for 5–10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water (up to 100% depending on the desired result) 🚿.
- Apply a Skala mask of your choice for 5–10 minutes, then rinse:

- Skala Mais Lisos → helps to keep hair disciplined after straightening.
- Forest Tanino Mask → nourishment & suppleness, ideal for dry ends.
- Tropical Coconut Mask → hydration & softness, for dehydrated lengths. (ideal for blonde hair)

Pro tip: for a more intense treatment, leave for 15–20 minutes under a shower cap then rinse.

Finishes (optional)

A leave-in (heat protection) + Inceller oil in a light veil on lengths/ends for shine.

6) Drying & Styling

Drying/brushing as needed, or light ironing to perfect alignment 💁‍♀️.
