Description du produit
The Minoa Indian Health Source volume-reducing hair treatment is a professional treatment in a 1 kg format, imported directly from Brazil.
Which hair types is this volume reducer best suited to?
It is primarily recommended for resistant, very voluminous hair, particularly coily, curly or thick hair, when the assessment identifies a need for greater volume control and replenishment of hair mass.
Volume reducer or anti-frizz mask?
This product aims for a more visible reduction in volume, combined with a reconstructing effect and greater manageability. The Minoa guide distinguishes it from the anti-frizz mask, which prioritises alignment, frizz control, shine and the preservation of movement.
If your main aim is a smoother look with movement, see the Organic Protein Indian smoothing treatment, available in 120 ml and 1 L. These two products serve different purposes: the choice depends on the actual condition of the hair and the desired result.
Use and precautions
This heat-activated treatment is applied to the hair fibre. Its use must follow the professional assessment and the instructions and precautions on the product label. Read the complete instructions before use.
Professional use. The choice of treatment is based on an assessment of the hair fibre, its strength, porosity and treatment history. A complete strand test is mandatory before the service. Do not proceed if there is breakage, a stretchy or “gummy” texture, excessive elasticity or loss of strength.
Incompatible with Henê, ammonium thioglycolate and guanidine. Do not apply to an injured or sensitised scalp. Follow the instructions, the precautions on the label and the complete protocol specific to the product: processing time, temperature and number of passes must be adapted to the actual condition of the hair fibre. The result depends on the assessment, the integrity of the hair and correct execution of the protocol; the same degree of straightening cannot be promised for every hair type.

The result depends on the diagnosis, the integrity of the fibre and the protocol carried out.

Priority indication: resistant, very voluminous hair fibres, particularly when the aim is greater volume control and replenishment of the fibre.
The decision is based on strength, porosity and chemical history, followed by a complete strand test. Volume or curl shape alone is not enough to determine the choice.

For professional use. This selection guide does not replace the technical data sheet or the product’s complete protocol.
1. Carry out a diagnosis: chemical history, strength, elasticity, porosity, breakage, dryness and fibre thickness.
2. Perform a complete strand test using the product, processing time, temperature and number of passes planned. Wash, dry, brush and straighten the test strand to assess its response before the full service.
3. During application, keep a distance of 0.5 cm from the scalp.
4. Remove 100% of the product using water only, in accordance with the current protocol.
5. After removing the product and before drying, apply the Indian Health Source pH control mask for 5 to 10 minutes. Follow its instructions for rinsing.
6. Apply Ease heat protectant to damp hair before using the hair dryer and straightener.
The processing time, temperature and number of passes must follow the specific product protocol and the actual condition of the hair fibre.
