0) Before we begin

Diagnosis + strand test 🧪 on a hidden area.

Very sensitized hair: postpone straightening and prioritize a repairing treatment first.

Good safety practices: work in a well-ventilated area 🌬️, avoid all eye/skin contact, do not ingest.

1) Pre-wash

Wash 1–2 times to remove residue and pollution (no conditioner).

Towel dry, then blow-dry until 80% dry. (A clean scalp and dry hair fiber promote even application.)
(For subsequent maintenance, Forest Tanino Shampoo is suitable.)

2) Application of Forest Protein

Wear gloves (good practice in salons) 🧤.

Divide into thin sections.

Apply strand by strand, about 1 cm from the scalp, comb through to distribute evenly (do not saturate).

Exposure time under film (optional):

Fines/sensitised: 20–30 min ⏱️

Normal/thick: 30–40 min

Very resistant/bulky: 40–50 min

3) Pre-drying & blow-drying

Dry 100% by brushing to pre-align the fiber 💨.

4) Iron sealing (key step)

Work in thin strands.

Suggested settings (adjust according to the diagnosis):

Fine/coloured hair: 180–200 °C, 3–6 passes per strand.

Normal hair: 200–210 °C, 6–10 passes.

Thick/resistant hair: 210–230 °C, 10–15 passes.

Slow passes, steady tension ⚖️.

5) Rinse & condition

Allow to cool for 5–10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water (up to 100% depending on the desired result). 🚿

Apply a nourishing mask (such as Skala or Forest Tanino LISO) for 5–10 minutes, then rinse. ✨

Finishing option: Leave-in Modelador in thermal protection + Óleo Finalizador in polish. 💧

6) Drying & Styling

Dry/brush as needed, or lightly iron to perfect alignment 💁‍♀️.
