Lily: the white lily, one of the brand's perfume lines
Lily is one of the brand's feminine perfume lines, built around the white lily.
Four interpretations of the same theme. Lily, the lily alone, offers a straightforward floral. Lily Lumière is its luminous version, easier for daytime wear. Love Lily leans towards a gourmand floral. Lily Absolu concentrates the lily: we have the cream, not the perfume.
Around the bottle, a whole wardrobe: Lily Lumière or Lily Absolu body cream, shower cream, scrub, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and Lily Glow illuminating gel. So you can wear Lily without buying the perfume.

Nativa Spa: lotion, oil, or body splash — which one to choose
Nativa Spa is O Boticário's body and bath line. Within the brand, the same formats are repeated across sub-lines: 400ml lotion, shower gel, oil, body splash — not all are available here in all four formats. The scent, however, changes each time.
The need, however, does not change: it's always about the body after showering. Lotion is the default gesture, oil takes over when a richer texture is desired, body splash is used to re-perfume during the day.
We advise starting with a single product and letting the scent guide you.
Navigating between the plums
Four related sub-lines, four scents — this is not a catalog error.
Ameixa Negra (black plum) — the best-stocked sub-line with us: 400ml body lotion, 200ml body oil, shower gel, and body splash.
Ameixa Dourada (golden plum) — with us as 400ml body lotion.
Flor de Ameixa (Plum Blossom) — the floral variation of the family. Discreet.
Ameixa plain — the plum without qualification; with us in 250ml scented shower gel and 200g body oil-cream.

Quinoa and almond: a simple sub-line, the one you offer when you don't know the tastes. The reference we carry is called Quinoa & Almonds, in glorious 200ml shower oil; there's also a Quinoa hand cream and a mini-lotion.

Cuide-se Bem — "take good care of yourself" — is a low-cost range. The lip balm is €11.90, the 400ml body lotion is €15.90.
The range is gourmet and unapologetic. The assortment remains partial: Deleite Chocolatudo comes in lotion, mist, and scrub, Deleite in lotion, mist, and lip balm, Pessegura only in a gift set. It's also a way to check if a sweet scent suits you before moving on to a perfume.

Coffee — coffee
The brand's coffee family. We only have one variation: Coffee Woman Ristreto Unique Eau de Toilette 100 ml.
Her Code — body
With us, Her Code comes in one product: the 250g velvety body cream. We do not stock any eau de parfum from this line.
Boti.Sun — sun protection
The brand's sun protection line. We have one body reference: a 120g SPF 50 gel-cream. Please refer to the instructions printed on the packaging.

O Boticário was founded in 1977 in Curitiba, Brazil, in a compounding pharmacy opened by Miguel Krigsner.
O Boticário operates a very large network of stores in Brazil and is present in several other countries, including Portugal.
Grupo Boticário is something else: the holding company that owns O Boticário alongside other Brazilian beauty brands, which we do not stock. It states on its own websites that it brings together 15 brands and is present in over 40 countries — these two figures apply to the group, not the brand.
Discover the history
The brand developed in Brazil through franchising, then established itself in Portugal. It is sold in stores, pharmacies, and supermarkets.
We can only comment on our own status: that of an independent French reseller, who selects products in their original formats.
According to the brand, an Euromonitor International study (Retail Research, 2025 edition, 2024 data) ranks it as the leading beauty brand for the number of physical stores. We cite this mention as published by the brand, without having access to the study.

La Boutique Brasileira is an independent French retailer. We select O Boticário products in their original formats, with descriptions and advice in French.
To our knowledge, O Boticário does not have its own store in France: we have not found any, nor an official website for the brand in French. We can only comment on our own practices.
The brand has a Portuguese website: its shipping costs, delivery times, and any free shipping offers are set from Portugal, to be checked there before ordering.
What you can check on the packaging
Upon receipt, take the time to read the packaging yourself: it must bear the name and address of the responsible person established in the EU, the list of ingredients in INCI nomenclature, the batch number, the minimum durability date or the period after opening, indicated by the open jar symbol.

These words appear on labels and in our product descriptions. Unfold the one you need.
Body splash (colônia)
A lightly scented body mist, not highly concentrated, to be sprayed generously, often over lotion. It complements perfume rather than replaces it.
Loção hidratante — lotion
Body milk, very common in Brazilian body care. Common capacity: 400 ml. See body creams and lotions.
Óleo glorioso — glorious oil
A shower oil, to be used on wet skin, not afterwards. See body and shower oils.
Acetinado — satin, satin cream
A slightly luminous finish, neither matte nor shiny. For Lily, the word describes the entire line: shower cream, scrub, satin moisturizing cream.
Esfoliante — scrub
A body scrub, to be used in the shower before lotion, on damp skin. See body scrubs.
Hidratante desodorante
A lotion whose Brazilian label also announces a deodorant function. Common in Brazil, rare in France: if the mention appears on the packaging, it is not a translation error.
400 ml, 250 ml, 200 ml: why these formats
In Brazil, a body lotion is 400 ml: not a family size, but the normal size. A mist is 200 ml, a shower gel 250 ml. In a hot and humid climate, with air conditioning that dries out the skin: these textures are made to be applied in a generous layer.
The bottle that seems twice too big here is, there, the default size.
Why body splash holds a central place in Brazilian routines
In France, perfume is used sparingly on a few pulse points. In Brazil, body splash is sprayed all over the body, every day, after lotion: it's a light mist, so you use a lot and reapply it throughout the day.
It's reapplied throughout the day, over the morning lotion, without a second thought. It's an everyday gesture, not an occasion.
