The purple de-yellowing conditioner from the Match range

Proteção dos Loiros is a purple pigmented conditioner, formulated for blonde, highlighted, bleached, or gray hair that tends to yellow. Purple is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel: when applied to the hair, it helps optically neutralize golden tones and bring blonde back to a cooler shade. This is the only pigmented product in the Match range: the other Match conditioner, Science Pré e Pós-Química, is a pigment-free treatment.

How to use it — and processing time

Apply to washed and towel-dried hair, focusing on lengths and ends. Leave on for 3 minutes for simple maintenance, up to 5 minutes if the yellow is pronounced, then rinse thoroughly. Do not exceed this time: light or porous blonde hair may take on a purplish tint.

Precaution: the pigment stains. Wear gloves or rinse your hands immediately, as it colors nails; use a dark towel.

To layer: wash with Match Science Shampoo, then alternate with Match Science Conditioner on non-pigment days.
